We Want You
To Love Recording AT Pro Star
REALLY EXCITED ABOUT HOW THE NEW SONGS ARE COMING ALONG AT PROSTAR RECORDING STUDIOS IN ST. PETE. CAN'T WAIT TO SHARE THEM ALL WITH YOU SOON. HERE I AM WITH JODY, JEANNETTE AND KEN, WHO I AM VERY GRATEFUL FOR. THEY ROCK!
We love working with artists, it's rewarding to observe our clients creative process in action.
It makes us feel great to know we are contributing to your music, or just being there to provide creative and/or moral support, we get off on the energy the studio generates.
We wouldn't be at this same location for 14 years with the same ownership team if we didn't love what we do!
Many people are afraid to record, it can be stressful and can make people nervous and they never even give it a try. Others want to get their music done without breaking the bank and never commit going for it thinking it will be too expensive.
We promise to ease your stress and make your experience affordable, enjoyable and successful!
This Is How We Keep Our Promise to do just that
We want to meet with you before your project beginsTalk with you about the record you're trying to make. It help us to determine how much time you're going to need to get everything done. We want to get it done in a reasonable manner as much as you do are reputation depends on it. That means making our clients as satisfied and happy as possible. We need to know your budget and figure out a solution that's agreeable to all. We find that if everyone involved is having a good time and if you have your songs down pat which means fewer takes you can get more done in less time and stay on budget.
At the end of the day, everyone wants to leave with a record we can ALL be proud to put our name on.

There Are Many Ways To Approach Your Recording At A Studio
Regardless, we feel that talking with the engineer and staff about the record you're trying to make is one of the most important parts of the process. It helps develop a good communication relationship.
This helps you and the studio to share experiences, listen to studio samples and listen to artists you admire and would like your music to perhaps have the same quality sound.
It also helps to discuss studio rules and expectations that you'll have of each other.
Making records isn't a breeze nor should it turn into a chore. Having a good rapport before the project starts and being on the same page with your recording engineer and team will build camaraderie as well as a foundation for when and if it does get chaotic you'll get through it.
Things will go wrong but don't let them get you down.
Energy and success comes from being human and humans make mistakes.
Listen to advice, don't lose site of your project's vision, and don't be a tyrant.
Making records is a team effort.
Releasing music may be easier than ever, but getting people to listen to it is harder!
