A DVD Portfolio acts as a Video Resume for Musicians, Singer songwriters and Performers. With this highly versatile self-promotional tool, those in the music industry can offer a visual calling card to agencies, talent agents, recording industry executives and others who are in the business of recruiting musicians and performers.

Option 1 – DVD Portfolio  starting at $199.00

This is for Musicians looking to make an impression on a budget.

* Main Menu with three options: Photos, Bio, and Contact Info.
* 30 photos (supplied in digital format). If you only have a hard copy additional charges will be applied for scanning and color correction.
* Up to 3 minutes of video (supplied as a AVI or MOV) If Video is on Tape or DVD, digitizing charges will apply.
* Standard transitions (fade in -fade out)
* 1 Master DVD with a customized label and insert in a slim line jewel case)

Option 2 – DVD Portfolio Starting at $350.00

This is for the musician who has accumulated footage, photos and collected bits and pieces of your career from over the years.

You also may want to acquire new material just for this project or to add to existing material.

We’ll help you select the most powerful footage, craft a video that highlights your unique talents and musical abilities.

We can also shoot new, vivid footage; maintain sharp focus on selecting the most powerful scenes to edit into your finished video that you’ll be proud to distribute.

This option includes

* Up to 50 photos (supplied in digital format). If you only have a hard copy additional charges will be applied for scanning and color correction.
* Up to 8 minutes of video (supplied as a AVI or MOV) If Video is on Tape or DVD, digitizing charges will apply.
* If new footage is needed additional charges will be applied.
* Standard transitions (fade in -fade out)
* 1 Master DVD with a customized label and insert in a slim line jewel case

Option 3 – LIVE DVD In Our Studio Starting at $500.00

This format captures the spontaneity and excitement that only a live audience can provide.

You have a Professional Live DVD to sell as well. If you want to shoot off premise a mobile charge for traveling and set up and break down will be applied.

This option includes:

* Shooting and Editing.
* Menu input, Video, Photos, Bio Interview Contact info, References, Finalizing and rendering for professional viewing.
* 30 photos (supplied in digital format). If you only have a hard copy additional charges will be applied for scanning and color correction.
* Up to 45 minutes of live video footage and *Standard transitions (fade in -fade out)
* 1 Master DVD with a customized label and insert in a slim line jewel case)

Depending on the complexity of the project the cost can vary. A one hour consultation is set-up and at that time a price may be discussed.

Small Run Duplication

When you just don’t want to buy 500-1000 CDs at a time, consider a small run duplication. With the same quality of the big guys, we’re able to produce smaller batches for local promotion or to test out new content. You can purchase as few as 25 CDs at a time!

We print directly on the CD disc, no labels. This will ensure the quality of the disc is professional both to your eyes and your ears.

Media Transfers

Most Vinyl, and tapes will begin to degrade at 10 years old. Transfer your valuables to a digital media today! Digital media can be easily backed up in it’s original condition, ensuring your recordings stay as perfect as you remember them.

We specialize in LP’s and Cassettes to CD, VHS to DVD and Reel to Reel to CD conversions. We use the latest in software and equipment to handle your transfers. All media is cleaned as much as possible. Once your media is converted, we then place track marks at natural event-driven points. If you wish, we can also place track marks at the points you specify.

Basic Recording

If you’re looking for an introduction to the world of Pro Tools, taking this class is the way to go. You’ll gain valuable skills and cover basic PRO TOOLS principles.

Prerequisites: Basic computer skills and some audio recording knowledge, such as a basic understanding of recording techniques, processes, and equipment.

Songwriting

If you can sing we can produce it! Even if you don’t sing and/or don’t play an instrument, we have other options available or maybe you have you been writing lyrics and songs for years or do know someone who has but never had the confidence to do anything about it? This is truly the ultimate experience within the music recording industry…and where better to do it than in a professional recording studio.

We work with songwriters at all levels. You get to leave with your very own song.

This class will cover those systems. Learn from a sound engineer with 26 years of live sound experience in a actual venue with stage, lights and sound equipment.

Audio Recording Services

Our specialty is working with our recording artists to produce a recording far superior to what can be achieved by many artists alone.

If you are a solo-artist and don’t have a band and want to record your songs with one PRO STAR specializes in making that happen. They like to see an artist’s songs reach its full potential. If you need assistance in writing lyrics or creating the music their combined 44 years of song writing experience is at your disposal.

Jody Gray engineer/ producer/ musician will work closely with you, to shape and sculpt your songs – the way you imagined them to sound. He plays several instruments and knows how important each track is to a song. Jody performed on the road for several years and co –wrote, engineered and produced many songs during his performing years. He now dedicates his music talents co owning PRO STAR Studios arranging and producing artists in the Tampa Bay area and has been for the last 20 years He listens to what you want and does his absolute best to for fill your every request. If you need help with pre-production such as the lyrics or music Jeannette Goldman music teacher and song writer will meet with you and go over how important it is, to put a good effort into the entire song, but also understand that the chorus/hook in most cases is the one part that sticks in your listener’s heads. She has been writing and co-writing for over 25 years in all different styles of music. Her song writing 101 consultation session will be one of the best experiences you will have.

Studio Rate: $40-$65 per hour (Depending on the kind of recording your needing)
